Logbook and car loans, from KES 100,000 to 4 million. Customers request a car valuation, run the loan calculator and apply from their phone, replacing a paper process.

View on Google Play ↗I'm a software engineer specializing in Flutter, with backend experience in C# and ASP.NET. I've built Android and iOS apps professionally since 2019, mostly in fintech: payments, remittance, wallets and loans, plus e-commerce and on-demand delivery.
Because I also build .NET APIs, I can work out the API contract with the backend team and own a feature from the endpoint to the store release.
I focus on performance, UX and security. In practice that means fewer crashes, faster startup and login people trust (PIN, biometrics, email and password).
Lately I'm interested in GenUI: letting agents "speak UI" while we keep control of our widgets, state and security.
I mentor three junior engineers at work, and I coached five junior Flutter developers through the Andela Learning Community.
Lead mobile for four production Flutter apps serving 5,000+ users, and sole mobile developer on Upesi and Pesi. Took the apps from a 50% issue rate to 0.05% through refactoring and testing. Work with the .NET backend team on APIs built for mobile and offline use. Set up CI/CD and code review for a three-person team, and mentor three junior engineers.
Joined as a junior Android developer, building Kotlin features for an on-demand delivery app with Google Maps tracking. Converted native Android apps to Flutter, led the move of a monolithic .NET ERP to a distributed architecture, and built C# and ASP.NET MVC controls and .NET REST APIs.
Shipped eight Flutter apps for e-commerce, edtech, logistics and health clients. On a multi-vendor e-commerce super app, tripled daily active users in four months, lifted checkout conversion from 12% to 18% and cut load time from 5s to 2s.
Ran the centre's website, network and equipment, and taught ICT to primary school students.
